How to make a claim…

Step 1
Call the Claims Helpline
Should you wish to claim under your Stay On The Road.com Policy, please call the Claims Helpline on 0845 601 9149. (All claims are handled by AXA Assistance Claims Centre Limited).

You will be issued with a Claim Reference Number, which should be quoted on all subsequent correspondence.

Step 2
Complete a Claims Notification Form
You will be asked to complete a Claims Notification Form which AXA Assistance Claims Centre will send to you, or you can print from this website.

The completed Claims Notification Form plus the relevant supporting documentation – outlined below – should be mailed to AXA Assistance Claims Centre Limited.

Supporting documentation (please provide clear copies):
1. Certificate of Insurance from StayOnTheRoad.com.
2. Summons Papers and Court papers confirming status of your driving licence.
3. Driving licence valid in the UK (with photo).
4. Passport (with photo).
5. Certificate of Motor Insurance issued by your Car Insurer.

Complete Monthly
Claims Expense Forms

In order to receive your claim payment(s) on a monthly basis you will be required to complete a Monthly Claims Expense Form for each month you are disqualified from driving. This is a daily account of the travel expenses you have incurred for each month and should be submitted after the end of each month of disqualification. Monthly Claims Expense Forms must be returned to AXA Assistance Claims Centre Ltd by post in order for your travel expenses to be reimbursed.

Failure to provide full documentation may jeopardise the reimbursement of your costs.

Step 4
Receive payment

Payment will be made within 14 days of each month end, subject to AXA Assistance Claims Centre being having received your Monthly Claims Expense Form within seven days of the same month. Any settlement made by us would be via a bank transfer directly to the appropriate bank account.
